Ceilidh Dance newsletter – next Ceilidh Dance THIS Friday, April 27, 2012

Achmelvich Beach
Just like the beaches in Cuba with lovely white sand but not quite so crowded!!   Perhaps the temperature has something to do with that!!

Did you miss this week’s newsletter?   I did not get back from Scottish Country dancing in Cuba until late on Monday, had to work and teach class yesterday but am working from home today so thought I would take a short break and rush off a very short newsletter just to remind you that there is a Ceilidh Dance THIS Friday – April 27, 2012.   I hope as many of you as possible will be able to come along.  This will be the last Ceilidh Dance of the season.

Usual place – Scottish Cultural Centre, 8886 Hudson Street, Vancouver
Usual time – Class at 7 p.m. followed by dance from 8 – 11 p.m.
Usual price – $10 (students etc, $8)
Usual great music – Live music by Calanais
Usual refreshments – all for a donation towards the cost
Usual great fun and exercise
Everyone welcome

There is a Ceilidh Dance on Saturday, April 28 at Renfrew Community Centre with the same band and I will be calling the dances.   This event is run by the Community Centre and I have no further information other than I have to be there by 7 p.m.

Also on Saturday Gleneagles hold their Spring dance – see info below – and the Branch invite all dancers to their final class night on Monday, April 30.

We had an interesting time in Cuba and were well received but I will tell more in next week’s newsletter as I still have work (income taxes) to get done.

Hope to see many of you on Friday

Duncan
