2020\/21 #1"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>NOTICE RE CEILIDH DANCES:-<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Due to the Covid19 pandemic, unfortunately, all Ceilidh Dances for the balance of the year have been cancelled.\u00a0 That means the dances scheduled for September 18, October 30 and November 27 will not be held unless &#8230;&#8230;..\u00a0 Ceilidh dancing is a contact sport and under current guidelines might be allowed in groups that number less than 50 but these 50 would have to be the same people each dance.\u00a0 There is no way we could guarantee that.\u00a0 Keep reading the newsletter for updates &#8211; an Anna hummingbird has a nest in the garden and they have raised two families of 2 chicks &#8211; well I say they but she does all the work &#8211; what&#8217;s new!\u00a0 We have two feeders which have to be refilled regularly.\u00a0 They are very territorial and chase away other hummingbirds that try to feed &#8211; the Scottish Accent Celtic Fire (disk 2) 8<\/p>\n<p>Apart from these interludes I have taken my daily 15 minutes walk down Sandy Trail and back up again.\u00a0 It is a fairly steep incline so it certainly gets mt heart rate up.\u00a0 I started a few weeks before I had a stress test in early July.\u00a0 This is carried out on a tread mill where the operator increases the incline and speed every minute and they said I did better that in prior years so the training must have been the reason.\u00a0 I have kept it up nearly every day since.\u00a0 I don&#8217;t know how it will be in the rain and cold &#8211; and positive (or negative if you see what I mean).<\/p>\n<p>Take a glass and pour a decent dram of your favourite red wine, whisky, gin or rum into it;<\/p>\n<p>Check to see if you can smell it; if you can, then you are halfway there.<\/p>\n<p>Then drink it.\u00a0 If you can taste it&#8211; it is reasonable to assume you are currently free of the virus.<\/p>\n<p>I tested myself 9 times last night and was virus free every time, thank goodness.<\/p>\n<p>I will have to test myself again today though, as I woke up with a headache this morning which may also be a this way.<\/p>\n<p>He said, &#8220;Up until last week, I still had it all.\u00a0 I had plenty to eat, my clothes were washed and pressed, I had a roof over my head, I had HDTV and Internet, and I went to the gym, the pool, and the library.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I was working on my MBA on-line.\u00a0 I had no bills and no debt.\u00a0 I even had full medical coverage.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>I felt sorry for him, so I asked, &#8220;What happened?\u00a0 Drugs?\u00a0 Alcohol?\u00a0 Divorce?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Oh no, nothing like that,&#8221; he said.\u00a0 &#8220;No, no&#8230; I was
