The Ceilidh Dance on November 26 is on &#8211; yes it is going ahead so get ready to join in some\u00a0 fun exercise to the great music of Calanais.\u00a0 Some 605 days after the last Ceilidh Dance on February 28, 2020 we are going to meet again on November 26, 2021 at the Scottish Cultural Centre, 8886 Hudson Street, Vancouver with the class at 7 pm followed by the dance at 8 pm.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>All those attending will have to have a BC authorized vaccination passport showing you have had two jabs plus proof of identity and masks will be <\/b><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><b>mandatory<\/b><\/span><b> to enter the building and must be worn in the common areas such as corridors and washrooms.\u00a0 We will be taking your names &amp; contact info so you can be reached in the unlikely event that there is an outbreak.\u00a0 You will be required to put on your mask when not dancing and wherever possible keep 6 meters apart.\u00a0\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p><strong>The dance, and future dances, will be <\/strong><strong>held at the Scottish Cultural Centre, 8886 Hudson Street, Vancouver but, there is a slight change of time.\u00a0 The class will be held in the large hall from 7;00 &#8211; 7:45 then we will all exit to give the band a chance for a sound check etc. and the dance will run from 8:00 &#8211; 10:30 with live music by Calanais.\u00a0 Alison will continue to be your teacher\/caller so you are guaranteed to have a great evening.\u00a0 No change to the admission &#8211; background-color: #ccffff;\">We have lost one of out major volunteers due to work and family commitments.\u00a0 Bonnie has been a volunteer taking money at the door, balancing the cash, paying any bills and the band, filling in when we needed an extra dancer, babysitting, filling water jugs, clearing up, getting the liquor licence, etc., etc.\u00a0 We are going to miss Bonnie, not only for all the work she did but most of all for her always cheery, welcoming smile.\u00a0 We hope that she will be able to drop by and visit at one of the Ceilidh Dances.\u00a0 <\/span><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><strong>Is there anyone who would like to volunteer for one or all of these duties?\u00a0 If so please send me an email &#8211;
