The Immortal Memory, the Toast to the Lasses and Reply.\u00a0 The hall was cleared of tables etc. and there was a demonstration of both Scottish Country &amp; Highland dancing and the rest of the programme was taken up with everyone enjoying some easy Scottish country dances.\u00a0 All in all a very enjoyable evening.\u00a0 Tickets for the 2005 Burns Supper will go on sale on November 11, 2004 &#8211; let me know you have a group and what the password will be, then you do not need to all arrive together.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<table width=\"100%\">\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td width=\"100%\">\n<hr \/>\n<p>Walking can add minutes to your life.<br \/>\nThis enables you at 85 years old to spend an additional 5 months in a nursing home at $5000 per month.<\/p>\n<p>My grandmother started walking five miles a day when she was 60.<br \/>\nNow she&#8217;s 97 years old and we don&#8217;t know where the hell she is.<\/p>\n<p>The only reason I would take up exercising is so that I could hear heavy breathing again.<\/p>\n<p>I joined a health club last year, spent about 400 bucks.<br \/>\nHaven&#8217;t lost a pound. Apparently you have to go there.<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I have to exercise early in the morning before my brain figures out what I&#8217;m doing.<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong>I like long walks, especially when they are taken by people who annoy me.<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong>I have flabby thighs, but fortunately my stomach covers them.<\/p>\n<p>The advantage of exercising every day is that you die healthier.<\/p>\n<p>If you are going to try cross-country skiing, start with a small country.<br \/>\n<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><strong>&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;..And last but not\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 least,<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You could run this over to your friends but why not just e-mail it to \/>\nNovember 29<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Mark your calendars now!<\/p>\n<p><strong>The dances will be will be <\/strong><strong>held at the Scottish Cultural Centre, 8886 Hudson Street, Vancouver.\u00a0 The class will be held in the large hall from 7:00 &#8211; 7:45 then we will all exit to give the band a chance for a sound check etc. and the dance class will run from 8:00 &#8211; 10:30 with live music by Calanais.\u00a0 Alison will continue to be your teacher\/caller so you are guaranteed to have a great evening.\u00a0 No change to the admission &#8211; still $15 with students $10.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><b>Help us spread the word &#8211; I am not into social media but I am sure somebody can promote the Ceilidh Dance(s) there for me especially
